(touch pointer finger and thumb
together and put over eyes)

This is Grandma's cap,
(point hands together over head)

This is how she folds her hands,
And puts them in her lap.
(fold hands and put them in lap)

Itsy Bitsy Spider

The Itsy Bitsy spider
Went up the water spout ('Climb' your thumb and forefingers into the air) Down came the rain (Wiggle fingers down from above your head to floor) And washed the spider out (Throw arms to sides) Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
(Raise hands above head, make circle for sun) And the Itsy Bitsy spider (Make your spider with your thumb and forefinger) Went up the spout again ('Climb' your thumb and forefingers into air) Open Shut Them Open shut them, open shut them (with your hands in front of you, open and shut your palms) Give a little clap, clap, clap (clap your hands on each 'clap') Open shut them, open shut them (with your hands in front of you, open and shut your palms) Put them (place them) in your lap, lap, lap (tap your lap on each 'lap') Creep them, crawl them, creep them, crawl them (creep your fingers up your chest to your chin) right up to your chin, chin, chin (tap your chin on each 'chin') Open wide your little mouth, (open your mouth wide while keeping your fingers at your chin) but... do not let them in! (quickly move your hands away from your mouth and behind your back) Ring Around the Rosie Ring around the rosie, A pocket full of posies, (children walk in circle, holding hands) Ashes! Ashes! We all fall down! (children drop hands and fall down) Picking up the daisies, picking up the daisies Picking up the daisies, picking up the daisies (on knees, make digging motion with hands against floor) We all stand up! (Everyone stands)

(touch toe) Wee, wee, wee, all the way home! (tickle up the leg to the belly) Wheels on the Bus The Wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, all through the town (rotate hands in front of body) The people on the bus go up and down,... (lift body up and down) The driver on the bus says "move on back"... (move right arm back over shoulder with thumb out) The babies on the bus go, "Waa, waa, waa,"... (with fists near your eyes, pretend to cry) The mommies on the bus go, "Shh, shh, shh,"... (bring index finger to mouth for shushing motion) The horn on the bus goes, "Beep, beep, beep,"...
