Overview The Children's Room serves children from birth through 5th grade.
Our programming begins at 12 months and there is no extra cost for our programs.
We offer a wide variety of print and media. If we do not have a particular item, we will happily interloan it for you or show you how to place your own reserves.
Each year we coordinate visits to the library for EVERY child in KINDERGARTEN, 1ST, and 5TH GRADE in Roslyn. - Heights Elementary School and Bryant work together to ensure all Kindergarten students have a library card. - We encourage all 1st Graders to participate in the Summer Reading Program when they visit in the late Spring. - This fall the visits have expanded to include East Hills 3rd and Harbor Hill 4th Graders. - For the upper grades, students are given a thorough overview of our facility and services, highlighting how students can best use Bryant in person and remotely 24/7. Students benefit when the School and Public Library Collaborate! We encourage all classes to plan a visit! Our Story Time room is filled with books, puzzles, and puppets. If you have a limited time to visit, we recommend calling to ensure the room is available for sharing time with your child.
