Downloadable Audio books

If you’re into technology and you love to listen to audio books, we’ve got the perfect thing for you! Library cardholders can now download audio books directly to their personal computers and MP3 players. Simply log on to the Bryant Library’s Web site from your home or office and download away. It’s another free service that comes with your library card!

PAC (Public Access Computers)
The Bryant Library has many computers available for public use. Patrons must be familiar with the software applications that they are using.  Our librarians can assist in the initial startup of the system, however, staff cannot provide extended instruction.  If you are a beginner, please ask about our computer volunteer tutoring service.

Laptop Area

Patrons may bring in their own laptops and connect to the Internet.

WiFi

The Bryant Library is now a hotspot. Bring in your own wireless laptop, and sit anywhere in the library to connect to the Internet. Patrons must adhere to the library's Internet Public Use Policy.

Individual Computer Assistance - The Library has volunteers to tutor patrons who need help with computer skills.  They will offer guidance on using the computer, surfing the World Wide Web and basic word processing programs.  If you would like assistance, please make an appointment at the Reference Desk. Tutoring sessions are limited to Bryant Library cardholders. The Bryant Library and computer volunteers assumes no responsibility for any damages which may occur as a result of the use of this service.  The goal of this service is to help you feel comfortable using a computer and to give you an opportunity to get some hands-on practice.  It is not by any means an in-depth instructional course.  If you are looking for a comprehensive class, you  should consider enrolling in a continuing education course through the Roslyn Schools or a local college.
